Think About Your Setup
When positioning your fire pit, safety should always come first.
For the Small, Regular and Jumbo Wizard Fire Pits, we recommend a minimum height clearance of 5 metres and side clearance of 2 metres. For the Mini, we recommend a minimum height clearance of 3 metres and side clearance of 1.5 metres.
If you're using a fire pit on a timber deck, we recommend using a suitable Heatproof Mat underneath and never leaving the fire unattended.
It's also important to check your local council and fire restrictions before lighting an outdoor fire. In New Zealand, you can use the Check It's Alright tool to check the requirements for your area.
Protect Your Fire Pit Between Uses
